Email or Text to get your first session scheduled.
Scheduling Best Practices
We will schedule your sessions for the same day and time, as much as possible. This helps make it easier to remember and develop a habit. When that’s not possible, we’ll do our best to keep it similar.
Why? The less our schedule is changing the better for our ADHD brains. When coaching occurs on the same day and time, it gives us the best chance that it will become a habit.
We will assess where you are currently at and begin the work.
Identify the most pressing challenges
Look at your current values
Identify existing skills & habits
Craft & create goals
Sometimes this takes us a couple of sessions
Things change, we will always address the most important challenges you are experiencing
First session
We require a minimum of 24 hours advance notice when canceling a session. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice, communicate the best you can.
Clients get 1 “free” missed session every 3 months.
A missed session is a no show/no contact or a late cancellation with less than 24 hrs notice.
Additional missed sessions will be lost and ineligible for a refund.
When extenuating circumstances arise, please communicate as soon as you’re able. We know life can throw us curveballs.
Cancellations
10 minute grace period. I will attempt multiple times to call or connect via phone or google meet.
After 10 minutes with no communication, the session is cancelled and is counted as a no show/no contact missed session. Clients get 1 free every 3 months. After that, a client loses that session and ineligible for a refund.
Showing Up Late
Most sessions are phone / audio based.
Find a quiet and calm space for our calls.
Minimize distractions. Please do not scroll on your phone during sessions.
Bring fidgets that help you.
Walk around if that helps you.
When you can’t find a quiet and calm space:
Avoid speaker phone - It’s often very difficult for me to hear a client when they are using a speaker phone.
Avoid early AirPod models if you are not in a quiet space (they pick up all kinds of extra noise). The AirPods Pro 2 seem to do much better at filtering out noisy backgrounds while on calls.
In-person sessions are possible (this would be discussed before signing up)
Video (Google Meet / Zoom) is an option anytime a client requests!
Recent studies have shown that many of us ADHDr’s get quite distracted on video meetings.
There are scenarios where video might be better and we’ll discuss that.
If you prefer video, that’s no problem at all. Let me know.
