How to thrive with attention challenges

  • Mindful Awareness

Without awareness we have very little control of our lives. Becoming aware of our focus and attention is the first step. Radical ownership over ourselves is liberating.

  • Choice

Once we are aware of our attention and focus, we can make choices. End auto-pilot reactions. Choose to develop skills. Choose the way you want to show up in the world and experience freedom.

  • Learn

Learn the skills you need to end procrastination, get unstuck, to have great relationships, find your path, and find joy.

  • Practice

The practice is the art of mindfulness, and developing the habits that allow you to design the life you want. Design it to work for your unique needs, creativity and goals.

Consistent distraction kills creativity, focus, and spirit.

 Who I serve?

Mindfulness based ADHD coaching for teens. Indianapolis.

Teens have enough to deal with. ADHD can lead to depression, anxiety, fatigue, trouble with friends & more. Mindfulness is the best non-pharmaceutical intervention. In fact, it compliments medication really well.

Adult ADHD is no joke.

I was diagnosed in my late 20’s. Suddenly things started to make sense. ADHD in adulthood means you’ve been wrestling with it for a few decades. Habits are entrenched. The mindset is formed. We will work together to find your strengths, balance your mind, bring ease and calm into your days. Your life will improve. You will find agency and control. You’ll always have ADHD, but the way you move through challenges will be dramatically better.

Coaching help for parents of Kids with ADHD. Behavioral challenges, Bounding off the walls, stress, lack of structure, issues at school.

Dear Caregivers and Parents,

Raising kids with ADHD is hard. Did you know there are strategies you can learn and implement that will help relieve family stress, and will also teach your kids extremely valuable life skills? As a public school teacher, I spent many a late night coaching and helping parents learn how to help their ADHD children do better, feel better, and thrive.

I struggled for over 20 years with undiagnosed ADHD until I got help.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • Never finished a book

  • Turned in late work to every class ever

  • Chronically late to appointments and classes.

  • Locker was a hot mess.

  • Bedroom was an even hotter mess.

  • Backpack, bag, or purse looks like a rubbish bin?

  • Organization strategy: toss it, drop it, throw it, forget about it.

  • Where are my: keys, homework, wallet, glasses???

  • The teacher is talking? I’m lost in my head

  • Phone is glued to my hand

Effects of the Struggle:

  • Deadlines missed

  • Negative consequences at work, school, & relationships.

  • You’ve been told: “You’re lazy!”, “You need to apply yourself”, “Just be on time”, “Why are you like this? etc

  • Self-confidence: not great in challenging areas

  • Negative self talk

  • Sense of self worth: not great.

  • Self-compassion: WTF is that?

  • I strive to offer the kind of coaching, help, and mentorship that I needed.

  • It took a decade of trial and error, a master’s degree, and a lot of practice and failure.

  • You don’t have to go through all that to radically improve your life.
